I currently have a Creative SB Live in my pc, just put it in after my sound started to go crazy.

But, I noticed there was no port on it for front case audio. So, will front port sound still work if connected to board?

only if the sound card is communicating with the 'on board' for the front port

I guess the only way to be sure is to test it, as different cards designed to replace the 'on motherboard' facility, handle the task in different ways, sorry

No, once a sound card is inserted onboard audio function will be disable.

Just curious about your onboard sound, what do you mean by crazy? white noise? echo? humm?

Have you try installing an older driver and see if the issue is still there?

Yeah, I just tried that after I posted that. Is there a surefire way I can know if a certain card will work with it? I saw that only the pricier ones came with a port like that. (the 9-pin)

@Blaze- I'm on Debian Wheezy right now, right after I used skype talk first time, it fooked up, making sound very choppy. I had to do a reinstall to fix it, but before fixing, I tried my SB live card and worked perfect, so I just left it...
