Windows 8.1 on floppies

Is this really real? :o

It has to be fake. 3711 disks is a LOT! But it's a very well done fake. They even have the Copyright Microsoft Corporation text. :)

On the other hand if it is real, there are 3 nutcases involved. The nut who thought about it, the bigger nut who approved and actually created it and the biggest nut who buys it. :D

I am going to ask on Microsofts website if Windows 8.1 can be ordered on floppy drives :D

I hope they don't start calling me a troll

"Bad sector reading sector 38 on disk 105. Cannot continue."

AHHHH!  *Throws out whole package*

I had to rely on these for school. They demand care as if an expensive item, yet they can be had for a few cents.

I actually have a USB floppy drive and have had to use it on extremely rare occasions.

You can still order floppy disks too

Heh, it would only cost you around $3633 or so for enough floppies to hold 8.1, never mind by the time you finally get it installed it would have already hit end of life. (And quite possibly you as well.) Shoot, I hated waiting on Windows 95, which was what, 13?

I accidentally order 40 60 minutes recordable cassette tapes once.

I found better price on one site and told other site to cancel the order and they could not cancel. so both sites shipped me 20 tapes each.

what hell am I going to do with the all cassette taps

so far I used 1,  I was going use 20 for a project but plans changed, so now...

The disturbing thing is that Microsoft's metro style icons really don't look out of place on those out of date media items.
