If you're looking for a new tablet but missed out on some of the great Black Friday sales last month, you're in luck: Office Depot is currently selling the 2013 Nexus 7 for just $179.99. That's $50 off the regular price for the 16GB version of the Android tablet. (If you had your heart set on the new white version, you'll still have to pay the regular price through Google Play.) The deal is available both online and in store, and you have quite a bit of time to grab one for yourself

I keep wanting to get one but really waiting for a 10" instead as i'll mostly use it at home for browsing and such.

I had a Nexus 10 yeah i know about it. Was gonna get one in one of those eBay daily deals and never got around to it. It was down to $279 at one point. Still i'm waiting for another Nexus 10 to come along (also by LG) and be all the new hotness. Right now i'd be happy with a current Nexus 10 but not for $500, even Staples sells it for $399 brand new (yes the 32GB version as well as they don't do the 16GB ones).

Just keep holding out hope that Google is gonna drop one on us soon!

The N10 was never very popular.  It is also 2yrs old.  I hope Google announces a new N10 soon and I hope LG makes it.  Some GPE devices would be nice.

A year and change, but who's counting? There are rumors of a successor, but nothing concrete. It is also a great tablet to this day, and the prices will drop if/when the successor comes out.

I paid full price for one, no regrets. It's a great tablet, as long as you're ok with the screen ratio.
