The thing that grabbed me was the free upgrade which is really good because it's a FREE upgrade worth £160.00 and it is SSD which is a bonus. It is a really stylish notebook which is really nice and looks awesome. The reviews a promising but does any other members own this.

Do you have the link to it? Also you missed out a couple of vital pieces of information, weight and price so there is nothing to compare this with.

Don't own; specs sound good. Who knows about the reliability -- that's the crapshoot with everything!

After killing McAfee with fire, it should work fine to me.

Is that a separate 30" monitor ?  Upgrade it if so.  1920x1080 stretched out to 30" will look horrid.

Vaio's have a very good screen but the price is, in most models, the crap factor: they're too expensive. But i don't understand what free upgrade you are talking about and how could i recommend this laptop if you don't say what is for (heavy gaming, work, light usage, etc.)?

It's a laptop (29,4cm, equivalent to 11").

Oh geez, my bad, I was confused as hell.  1920x1080 on 11" sounds a heck of a lot better than 30" w/ 1920x1080.  LOL

Fair enough, he didn't actually list the price though so he could be getting some sort of deal
