The closest laptop I can find is the Samsung Series 9 15-inch, but of course, the screen is too small, and it does not have a touchscreen. I don't require a true Ultrabook since I wouldn't mind having an optical drive, but I do want a premium, unusually thin laptop. Could anyone make a recommendation? Thank you. I don't think you are going to find many options for a thin touchscreen that is 17"... those are kind of conflicting requirements. Ambroos Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 A thin 17" touchscreen laptop? Doesn't exist. It's hard to make something that doesn't flex all over the place at that size. Also, the benefit of thin 13" laptops is that they're not much bigger than a regular sheet of paper and fit in bags easily thanks to their thinness.
