Xbox One missing Xbox Video collection content

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else had an issue with their Xbox One Xbox Video collection missing content?  I went to go watch a South Park episode I had purchased a while back and it wasn't in my collection (neither was some comedy central stand up episodes).  I turned on the 360 and it was in the collection there.  I then went back to the One and used the "Restore My Purchases" option.  It restored without the missing items.  I'll attach an image with a segment of my 360 TV collection and my One TV collection.

Any thoughts on the issue?

I have the same issue. I have tons of videos that I bought over the years that are missing. I don't know what is causing it, but it is extremely frustrating. I bought the videos, I should be able to watch them on the Xbox One as well.

Apart from one "Rights of Passage" they seem to be completely different lists!? Are the video's shown on the 360 ones that were purchased on the 360, and also with the videos shown on the One being only purchased through the one?

I think this is probably one to tweet Xbox Support about, they are normally quite good and replying to things like this.

I hadn't bought them on the 360.  Then 360 is relatively new.  Most of the content were freebies I'd gotten through Zune and Xbox Video over the years.  All purchased on my PC.

As for them looking different, it's just because of the way the 360 shows content.  Breaking Bad and Vikings are the previous items on the 360 image before the two missing items.  Those are present on the One list.  Just slightly different cover art.

I would definitely suggest contacting support.

I don't have a lot of purchased video content, but what I had on my 360 did show up on my X1.

Something got lost in migrating your account.

Probably because both content databases for the consoles are different and MSFT themselves have to migrate all the media.

Had a look at the Microsoft Support site for similar issues, it seems to have happened to a few people.

Advice they gave was contact Xbox Support Chat and if you aren't referred to an Xbox Video specialist, ask to be referred to one.

-They credit you for the missing tv shows/movies with MS Points once they've confirmed you have indeed purchased them and then you just re-buy them on the X1.
