Stanley Parable is very interesting, to say the least. It's a good few hours of humor.

And so it has begun: The Steam Holiday Sale has started. Today's deals:

Dead Island at 75% off is missing in your region.

edit: Thinking about picking up the Secret World at 50% off. Do people still play that game?

For people who may be at work or in a place that restricts these types of sites

Yeah, hopefully. I played the mod and enjoyed it and at that price, can't really argue if it is a bit naff

If you liked the other Arkham games then i can't recommend it enough.

It doesn't try anything new and plays it safe but still interesting and a lot to do in the game.

See CS:GO on a flash sale for under $4. Might be worth a pop

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for $3.74 USD is definitely worth it. I paid $14.99 when it was first released and I don't regret my purchase at all.

nothing really piquing my interest.  Hoping PayDay 2 goes on sale for >= 75% off. A post on reddit said that Amazon will try and match the steam deals as much as possible.  Plus you can get 5$ coupons for each purchase (including 0.01c dlc that may come up).

I need a break from the stock market (that so far, paid for two of my purchases during the sale :shifty: ): http://i.imgur.com/UIkEHoN.jpg

Wonder how much more richer Gabe is getting, just from the market. The prices are going crazy there.

Just pulled the trigger on Assetto Corsa.  I bought into Project Cars, which has insane graphics, so I'm curious how this one compares.

Seems like they're adding new cars and tracks every 2 weeks, so it should be fun to drive something new constantly.

The G27 wheel is looking really tempting now (as my bank account begs for mercy). :)

If you got friends to play co-op with, i'd say it is definitely worth it.

Single player is still good but does drag on a bit towards the last third of the game.

For a fiver i'd say risk it.

Haha, no doubt!  I'm looking around the store but haven't pulled my trigger on anything yet.  I keep thinking I need to play all the games I currently have from all the previous sells for years now...lol... oh well.

Is Castlevania Lord of Shadows any good?  A nice gothic game looks fun, and I loved the ones for the DS but the videos don't look very convincing.

I'm tempted to get Oblivion, but that will mean its the 3rd time I bought that game.  Bought it when it came out for the PC, my PC sucked at playing it at the time.  Bought it for the XBox 360, and couldn't really get into it.  Sold both of those copies on Amazon at some point.  I really fell in love with Skyrim though and wonder if that experience will make me appreciate Oblivion more (or will it just seem more dated and crappy).

I really, really like Lords of Shadow. Sure it is just a beat em up like God of War, so if you're not a fan of them. You probably won't get on with it.

It looks amazing and on PC it is 60fps. Plus it will get you ready for LoS 2 which is out next year... which is shaping up to be brilliant. Going to be more open like a traditional Castlevania.

Oblivion is good but if you couldn't get on with it before. I don't think Skyrim will make you appreciate it more. For how cheap it is though, might be worth a risk.

I'll give LoS a try then.  I'm looking for a nice controller mind numbing action game for the PC at the moment.  I was afraid it was overly RPGish...

When was the last good arcade style space shooter?

I tried Zeit2 and wasn't very impressed.
