Notifications for '{user} replied to a comment you made in {thread|article}&

This has been driving me nuts for a while now. Whenever I get a notification stating a user replied to my comment on a news article and I click the notification, it just brings me to the article. 

 

My request is that you bring us to the comment that we're being notified of instead of just the article. I tagged this as a bug and a request/suggestion as I'm not really sure if it is this way by design. Certainly hope not!

I must be missing something, since the notification doesn't have a hyperlink for 'comment'. :|

This is both by design, and user error.

Basically, you need to click the word [replied] to be taken directly to the reply.

Sorry, I typed in haste. I meant "replied". The same is generally true for posts as it is "quoted" or something similar.

Oh, I see. I never noticed the "replied" part being a hyperlink, heh. Still seems strange to have two separate ones since they'd both end up to the article. Now I'll just have to be less lazy with my clicks!
