1680/1050 is my desktop's resolution, all the Assassin's Creed titles gifted me with black bars on top and bottom of the screen. Many titles stopped supporting my 16:10 config even though many gamers still play on this resolution (according to Steam reviews).

My monitor is like 5y old already , job done perfectly till now.

It depends on which machine we're talking about. My work machine will remain at 1680x1050, dual monitors. My home laptop will remain at 1920x1200 on a single screen.

1920x1200 @ 24" (Dell U2412M)

Same here, hands down the best monitor i've owned.

I could never go back to a TN panel monitor now.

Hah not what I expected from the poll, was going to be something about kicking the e-cig habit...

But some day I'll be getting some higher resolution monitors, but right now it's fairly low on the priority list.. three 22" 1680x1050's is plenty fine for now.  It's primarily a work machine anyway.

It depends. There are some really good TN's out there. The one in my Vaio is really great. Matte, high density, almost full AdobeRGB, great contrast. But good TN's are rare indeed.

1920x1200 @ 24" (Dell U2412M) when I'm docked to my monitor, 1600x900 @ 13" when on the go (Vaio Z from 2010).

That's the same monitor I have. It was a great value for the price.

Yep. I absolutely love vertical space since I'm coding a lot and am not a fan of scrolling. Taskbar on the left, move all UI of my IDE's to the left/right and it's great to work in.

With f.lux and on the lowest brightness it's a really great monitor to work on for long periods without straining your eyes at all.
