simonlang Posted August 23, 2014 Share Posted August 23, 2014 david bowie - absolute beginners, still on the fabulous tdk ma 100, we peak at +6db this time, this is avoiding a bit of compression you otherwise would have to deal with, bias is at +5, i have switched off all equalizing so this is pure tape sound at its best. imagine this tune esp the refrain wearing sunglasses, boots on the ground, airplanes starting up to fly to iraq and clean this mess out can't get any better can it?
