iPad Air low memory crash?

Recommended Posts

The TouchWiz layer that Samsung use on their phone does consume memory (and CPU power).  Even more so with the Note line, where they included all the code for S-Pen.

Regardless of your phone manufacturer, the stock firmware will throw extra software on that runs in the background. It isn't any different just because you are running a Samsung phone. Unless there is actual evidence showing considerable RAM and CPU usage from Samsung's additional default applications then there is no argument here. It isn't like Samsung doesn't put TouchWiz on most of their models (low-end or otherwise -- literally they have it on single core phones with 200MB of RAM...).
