Error when installing new apps on Win 8.1

5 posts in this topic

Since updating to 8.1 keep getting the error code 0x80246007 when attempting to install any new applications :s

Also, has anyone had any major issues in using a Gmail account as the main email account? Read a few disconcerting reports that only @hotmail, @live @outlook work?

Edit:

Have you made any modifications to your system, such as disabling UAC (for example)?

Have you tried running wsreset?

Have you tried the Windows 8 Apps troubleshooter?

I have been using the mail app with only a gmail account since the beginning and it works perfectly fine.
