That'll be a nice addition for MGS. Can't wait to see what else he brings to the table.

I'm sure he'll be a great addition and will be an especially great contact for 343 to call upon. Hopefully this is also a sign of Microsoft's pushing to secure more talent within MGS and hopefully within all their first-party studios!

Side note: Maybe Bungie just liked being on their own, but it was always weird to me that Bungie was never actually bought out by MS.

Uh, you're joking right?

Bungie used to be part of Microsoft.

Microsoft bought it in 2000 and then it split off again in 2007...

Ah okay wow did not know that :pinch: , actually just looked it up and now I feel like an idiot.  I honestly only really got into the Halo Series when I got the third game, so that's probably why I always thought they were just always just an independent partner.

I bet he came back because of things in the works now or being planned.  He probably saw some of the games coming or being thought up and decided to join up, otherwise I doubt he'd make the switch unless you actually saw Destiny as yet another Halo from Bungie as far as they'll just keep making that one series for the next 5+ years.   Either of those two cases is probably the one, we'll see what other effects this has down the line.

Bet that cost MS a pretty penny!

Glad he isn't going back to Halo either. Need some new IP out of people like this! Just hope it's not another sci-fi FPS.

Actually I hope it's a different genre entirely. I feel like FPS (especially sci-fi FPS) are getting a bit stale. Although I'm still very much looking forward to Destiny :)

Magik, you're still around! :D

And agreed, Destiny & Titanfall will be more than enough. Anything but FPS and pref not another TPS either.

Haha, yeap, I'm still around! :) Didn't think anyone would remember me haha... I haven't been gaming as much lately but the Xbox One has gotten my gaming juices flowing again, so I hope to be around more often :)
