first time i've ever seen sweets with a health warning on them, read the product description

'Consumption of some sugar-free candies may cause stomach discomfort and/or a laxative effect.  Individual tolerance will vary.  If this is the first time you?ve tried these candies, we recommend beginning with one-fourth of a serving size or less. Made with Lycasin, a sugar alcohol. As with other sugar alcohols, people sensitive to this substance may experience upset stomachs.'

and if you know anything about Glucose/Fructose syrup, you know it's bad, were also warned about Hydrogenated vegetable oils being a huge health risk, so lets combine the 2 and make Hydrogenated Glucose syrup.

the reviewers that i read, their body is smarter then they are, expelling the poison they consumed.

Funny ######.

Too much of a good thing? Can happen with Breath Savers or any sugar alcohol if you eat too much. Apparently people who enjoy Gummy Bears eat them in large quantities.

My friend sent me this the other day. It depends if you are tolerant of sugar alcohols or not, but most people cannot eat a lot without feeling some discomfort. As a Type 1 Diabetic who happens to love sweets, I was up for trying alternatives a few years ago. I had some sugar-free chocolate and other random candies. They did give me stomach cramps, but nothing I could not live through. One time though my ex-girlfriend got me sugar-free gummy bears and I ate like half of them in one sitting. My thought process was very similar to the people in the comments. They were delicious and I felt like I could eat a ton without having to worry about my blood glucose skyrocketing. Well, sugar alcohols still raise your blood sugar but a lot lot less than regular sugar. Anyways... after I ate those, I was in the worst pain that I can possibly explain. My intestines felt like they were going to rupture. My ass was bleeding after I went to the restroom. They completely destroyed me.

If you know somebody that needs punished - buy these. Get yourself some regular ones and eat them so they do not get suspicious.

The laxative warning is fairly standard for sugar free sweets, most of them have it, same with mints which are sugar free too. Just be conscious not to eat too many!

Mints have the warning because mint oil is a natural (weak) laxative.
