I know you guys want to blame MS and Sony but most times it's the content providers who hold these things back and limit them to the us only. It seems like it's a mess to work out deals to cover every EU nation.

I don't think anyone is blaming MS/Sony. It's 100% the content holders/providers that cause the issue. Not only do you have to deal with all the licensing between digital services of today, you could have deals made years ago which are still in place that need to be honoured.

 

I think when people make an issue with MS/Sony is because they concentrate their efforts on features that only so many countries can make use of, rather than something everyone can enjoy. Not much you can do about that. Movies, music and TV aren't going to be ignored at the end of the day.
