I'm looking for a reasonably priced security system. DVR and camera's for a small business (possible 16 cameras). Outside with night vision and motion activated with some type of push notifications (email alerts) and such. He's considering Wifying some camera's but the buildings are metal, plus the security issues that could raise).

My boss was looking at something like this.

DVR rates as being good (for what it is). But the reviews say the default camera's are crap, at night outside, which most of the camera's would be located).

I do not know very little about security systems. I recommended that he get a professional version but he wants options. What would you all recommend?

This is the one we have at the paint store I manage.

It gives a nice clear color picture the cameras have a great field of view. You also can download the software to remote connect and it has iPhone and Android apps to connect via your smartphone.

Hope this helps.

I like the Samsung for residential installs but for businesses that do not want a full IP Cam setup I've been more inclined to offer Nuvico setups as they have more features.
