Need stability test tool for video cards

Recommended Posts

I've built a PC for work that has 3 video cards in it, they're not in SLI (and won't and can't be) but they're all NVIDIA, and they're not all currently connected to monitors. I'd like to test that the system can handle the load of all 3 cards running some heavy computation at the same time. Is there a benchmark or test I could run that could stress all the cards? Graphical-based benchmarks like Furmark won't do the trick I'm afraid, although I could resort to that when I end up connecting monitors to all the video outputs.

There are a lot of programs designed to crack hashes which can utilize the GPU. I don't know if any are specifically designed for multiple video cards, but it might be worth looking into.

An interesting topic I'd like to know some answers myself to.

Do I presume correctly that such GPU computing software will only stress shader blocks and may stress power delivery, but are very conservative towards VRAM? My experiements with coin mining seem to say that much.
