Re-install Win7 without messing up Win8 bootloader (dual boot win7/win8)?

I currently have a dual boot setup (Windows 7 and Windows 8), both on the same drive.

The bootloader used is the Windows 8 bootloader.

I need to re-install Windows 7. Is this possible without messing the current Windows 8 bootloader?
I'm pretty sure, the Win7 install will overwrite the current Win8 bootloader with its own.

You can but you will have to select what bootloader to use once you are in windows. I don't remember how to do this exactly but you should be able to find something about that using Google.
