gohpep
You have to know the password. If you're an extreme haxor you can decrypt it, but that would take a long time, or you could brute force the password, which could take a long time. LimeMaster
Have you tried using Microsoft's DocRecrypt Tool? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36443 The commands that you'll need to use the tool: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj923033.aspx Edit: Oops, just noticed that it only works on the open document format. Jeston Veteran Posted February 7, 2014 Veteran Share Posted February 7, 2014 Surely if it was for work the person wouldn't have used a hard cryptic password. Just try a simple brute force attack on it.
+Mirumir Subscriber¹ Posted February 7, 2014 Subscriber¹ Share Posted February 7, 2014 Can you open the presentation at all? If you can, you could try to just copy the slides into a new unprotected presentation and make changes there.

xendrome
Send me a pm with a link to the file, I have some software installed here at work that can probably remove or tell me the password. And if you can't host it anywhere, let me know I have an internal site you can upload to via a web-page.
+Mirumir Subscriber¹ Posted February 7, 2014 Subscriber¹ Share Posted February 7, 2014 can open it but cant copy anything :( :( The only thing I can think of is to take screenshots of the slides and then photoshop them. But it could be too much of a hassle. So you may as well just re-create it from scratch.

xendrome
Thanks, i will get back to you next week if thats ok Yeah no rush, you know where to find me. I'd recommend the software but it's forensic recovery high dollar stuff we use at work and requires a hardware dongle. Plus it's super expensive.
