max22 Posted February 12, 2014 Share Posted February 12, 2014 Like do the ads still use bandwith when in the app but you don't see them ? I am mainly talking about MX Player. I know when you play a video the ads don't show only when you pause or in folder directory when choosing a video. May be one other time but can't remember. Is there anyway to find out? tsupersonic Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 No, they don't use a lot of bandwidth. Switch to Wi-Fi if you can, or turn off 4G data when you're in free apps. You can monitor data usage in the settings menu (I think this was a feature starting on Android 4.0 ICS) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Like what was mentioned, use WiFi if/when available and also make sure apps are closed and not running in the background.
