I know on the electric shaver it says to change it every year.

Yes that is it but it will last far longer, if mine wasnt grubby inside from just rinsing under the tap i probably wouldn't have changed mine. :)

Tried electric shavers for years.  My face always felt sore after...razor burn.  Switched to a normal razor and much better.  I normally shave before my shower since the soap/shampoo helps make my face feel better after.  I cannot shave everyday tho or else it irritates my skin to much.  Plus, I hate shaving

Aftershave lotion fixes both problems. Also if a Braun causes a rash, you might be better off with a philips.

I was going to do a thread on this but seeing as this is already here,i will ask.

I'm looking for the stubble 3 day look and want to keep it like that all the time, So my question is i've never used a electric razor before, always been a shaver/cream person.

Does a electric razor have settings where i can keep my stubble but maintain it.

Thanks.

For this, you need you a hair clipper/beard trimmer. You just adjust for the necessary cutting length and you are set.

I recommend Moser Professional or Oster.

Thanks. I haven't decided if I am keeping the Philps or not yet.

I like shaving in the shower and with the Braun you can't. :(

I had a Braun before didn't like it but if you could use them in the shower I would definately chose Braun.

Can you use any of the Braun in the shower?

Brauns are a lot harder on your skin, especially if you have softer skin.

That is true I noticed that when I had a Braun years ago.

Plus it can't be used in the shower.

You won't regret getting the Philips.

Braun, hands down.

I have a braun and it stinks if my facial hair is even remotely long.

Yeah I guess it's different for each man. I can't even use a Norelco.
