You should be able to turn off the service using this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice Open it Go to System Apps Find Google Services Framework and tap it Uncheck "SystemUpdateService" Restart your device. notuptome2004 Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 why are you worried about this cause it could be your Apps updating from the google play store as well as maby OTA updates that are being pushed and if it is OTA updates go in to settings about phone and under updates or something check to see when the last OTA update was some updates like apps and such do this automatically. If you go into your settings and choose check for updates you can now upgrade to it, as long as you are on a wifi connection as it's 700 megabytes. As long as you didn't have exposed framework enabled it should install fine and you'll keep root. since the prerequisite installed fine KK should too.
