Sounds great on paper but the execution isn't. Has a Metacritic score of 34/100 for PC which Steam reviews back up.

 

Was gifted a free copy (they're literally giving it away on PC), so will try it out someday. I had high hopes thinking it'd be a cheap RS stop gap but it falls far from the mark :/

The Xbox version hasn't been reviewed yet. This version is POST bug fixes that plagued the PC version.

The PC version has had 8 patches and free DLC. If they're not the same version then the PC is actually probably newer, seeing as certification would have taken a few weeks.

 

But it's just a heads up for potential buyers. Would wait for price drops myself if it weren't given to me for free.

The XBLA version comes with the eight patches Serellan has put out for the PC version, as well as the extra content that was released for free on PC: a few maps and weapons.

 

So yeah proceed with caution with this one IMO.

So yeah, all the reviews I had read on this were PRE-PATCH. So this is NOT the same version that was reviewed PRE-PATCH. Just making sure everyone is aware. Thanks!

Yeah the media reviews will be pre-patch but the user reviews are up to date. Some of them posted within hours of them going live and they say the game is still broken. Infact when I posted last night some of the comments were 1 hour old. PC had it's 8th patch just a few days ago which is the release version on XBLA.

doesn't surprise me, I mean they put it on Steam for a buck fifty last week, so what does that tell you? Was interested in this, but there's just no justification.

So far so good here. Found a great group of guys to play with. This game is hardcore. I will post more impressions later with more time. Thumbs up right now!
