Las Vegas police seek public's help

Police in Las Vegas appealed to the public for information involving a hit-and-run incident that left one man injured at a crowded gas station.

The incident occurred Feb. 6, at an Arco station on West Flamingo Roadjust before noon. Stymied Las Vegas Metro Policeinvestigators have posted video of the incident on their official YouTube page in the hope that someone will come forward with information leading to the driver's arrest.

?We set up this video so folks would be able to ? notify us if they could identify this person or vehicle,? Las Vegas police said.

 

In the footage, a gray Honda Accord drives up to the victim, who has not been identified. As the victim looks back at the car, the driver accelerates, hitting the man and knocking him to the ground. The car then speeds off as the man writhes in pain, clutching his legs in pain.

 



The victim was taken to UMC Trauma Center. According to police, just prior to the incident the victim had driven into the station's lot, swerving to avoid a dark gray, 2010 or 2011 Honda Accord that suddenly pulled in front of him.

The Honda had tinted rear windows and a California license plate beginning with ?6C.? It was last seen driving out of the parking lot westbound on Flamingo Road.

Police say the suspect was described as a white male in his 30s with a medium build, who was last seen wearing a gray hoodie.
