riahc3
Hello, If I ask for a stylus then I'm pushing it, right? I guess I won't find a win8 tablet with my price range.. What you would be looking for a x86 tablet running Linux with a USB port. Why? Because when you look for a Windows tablet you automatically pay the Windows license which is 200+ Sorry but it aint gonna happen. If you find a x86 tablet with no OS and a USB port it is the only way and even then....I have my doubts! If you find one, please tell me as well  Anyways, do remember you get what you pay for :) I would really wait out, get some more cash and get the Nexus 7. Amazing piece of hardware and software.

Anibal P
Other than the Nexus line and possibly the Dell you won't find any decent cheap tablet, most are cheap for a reason +E.Worm Jimmy 1 Share

Hum
So the only android tablet with a stylus is the galaxy note? No -- I just got a Samsung 10 Android with a stylus. Asus Note 8 32gb cannot be found on Canadian market?? http://www.amazon.ca/M80TA-B1-CA-8-0-Inch-VivoTab-1-33GHz-Processor/dp/B00IYUVXZE/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1398417278&sr=1-2&keywords=asus+note+8 http://www.amazon.ca/BIRUGEAR-Premium-Crystal-Protector-Transformer/dp/B00GIDHL2I/ref=sr_1_14?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1398417592&sr=1-14&keywords=stylus+for+asus+tablets

Dell Venue 8 Pro: Pros:resolution, on sale now (CAD 270 WITHOUT stylus (approx 300 with stylus), 32gb (i don't mind) Cons: i'm not sure about synaptics and their stylus tech. Asus note 8: Pros: built-in stylus + wacom tech Cons: 64gb version available only, therefore very expensive (CAD 420 + tax) Now there's the HP Slate 7 Extreme, but i'm not quite sure about the stylus. (i don't mind android, as long as I can read pdfs/docs and annotate)

Seems like a better deal than the Asus, but I'm not sure if it's a WACOM stylus or not. It's also an x86 tablet with an Intel Atom processor. It also comes with Office Home & Student 2013 pre-installed. According to Google, that tablet is $330 CAD.
Tobias Brown
I would consider saving up for a more recognised tablet to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy or Google Nexus. Tablets play such an important(ish) role in our lives that its worth getting it right :) Of course the other posts were brilliant, and im sure any recommendations should be fine ! ultimate99
I just the hp slate 7 extreme and was happy with it at first. But I started inking a lot on it felt sluggish. I loved LectureNotes on my note 2,but kinda sucks here. I tried several others but I'm not really content. I think I'll return it. Stylus idea is kinda similar to Miix 2 stylus, capacitive. Honestly, the surface was awesome for stylus and onenote. But returned for other reasons. One extra point is that 7" is a bit small but can live with it, would prefer an 8".
