1.)  Phone & Phone Charger
2.) Tinted Windows
3.) Detonics .45 ScoreMaster
4.) Pillow & extra shirts  clip to top of window for makeshift curtains
5.) Buffalo Jerky from Montana (optional since its $50.⁰⁰/lb)

We just had snow, and freezing temperatures.

 

And Winter still happens every year ;)

 

And cars do break down, often in remote areas, at any time.

Fair point I guess, just think the timing is a little off.

Why do you need all that for 12 hours in a car when it is dark?

 

I would just have water Buxton 4 litres,two firm pillows and a bog roll.

 

I don't have a car, so I would book a hotel room instead.

With all that stuff in the car, and if you were on a trip, you surely aren't bringing any of your own personal stuff, are you?

I think that list is totally ridiculous, unless you have no common sense and travel some back road way all the way, especially since the topic says survive 1 lousy night!
