What is this?

So, got a new Dell ultrabook in at  work and this came with it.  Not sure what it is and doesnt  fit the laptop.  Maybe it has something to do with the dock?

its a Docking spacer to be placed on your docking station (if you have one) Did you buy an E7440?

I have a case of these here in my office. they come with every 7440 we buy.

Here is a photo of the instruction sticker for it.

Yeah they ship with the computer not with a dock. In the order page for the laptop you can remove it however, they do not charge for it. the part is free so its just a free chunk of plastic. lol use it to prop up the computer so it doesnt over heat.

Enjoy the computer. We have rather a few of them now here. Great little machine.

Geoffrey.B  I have also purchased an e7440 but didn't get one of these spacers for my docking station.  I have tried finding it as a part on the Dell site but can't see it anywhere.  If you have a box full of these spacers, can I buy/get 2 of them from you - as I have 2 docking stations (Pro 2x).
