Windows Search Filter Host constantly at 30% CPU usage - not sure why

Anyone ever experience this?  It just started out of nowhere and rebooting and / or killing the task does nothing to help

If you open Control Panel and then go to Indexing Options what does it say it's doing?

If it says nothing, or it's stuck click "Advanced" then "Rebuild" and let it do a full clean sweep.

It said it is slowed down due to user activity.  Not sure why.  I disabled it for now.  I'll give that a shot though later

It's hanging on a file during indexing, I've had this happen to me.  The trick is figuring out what file, or file(s) it's hanging up on.

There are so many files though.  I wouldn't be able to track it down.  I really don't need indexing anyway - I generally know where something is and rarely search.  I think I may just leave it disabled.
