+Zlip792 MVC Posted March 18, 2014 MVC Share Posted March 18, 2014 Yeah! They will release it today. Although slowly they will rip out Metro UI code from their trunk (nightly branch) and I probably think they will do this after ESR checkpoint reached. Boo Berry
It's already out in the wild if you know where to look.
Pupik
It's already out in the wild if you know where to look. You don't even need to look. Was auto updated to 28 a few hours ago.

primexx
so is metro available in 28? I found it rather weird that they used the low usage numbers to justify killing it off when they haven't even released it to general distribution yet.
ViperAFK
so is metro available in 28? I found it rather weird that they used the low usage numbers to justify killing it off when they haven't even released it to general distribution yet. I'd imagine that a decently large amount of people use the beta channel, and if they still saw those tiny usage numbers when it hit beta then it was becoming clear that it was going to be a barely used feature. Boo Berry
No Metro - it's probably dead (for the time being, anyways). :P
