First April and you... and Google

Recommended Posts

Sooooooo... tomorrow, it's again the first of April, perhaps better known as April foolsday. It's that day we celebrated a year ago, too. Anyway, at that day, a lot of tech companies join the fun and create some jokes. A lot of the are funny, but...

...some of them aren't. "Which do you mean?" you may ask. Well, those that seems to define the meaning of "fun" according to Google. Year after year, I get realy anoyed by the sh*tload of "jokes" Google launches this first April. Last time I checked, it was about making jokes so people would only realize the day AFTER that it was a joke. Googles "jokes" are so obvious, it's no fun anymore. What do you guys think about Googles jokes?

I think.. they are pretty funny, and for those not so tech inclined.. they may believe them.  Also, never really "celebrated" april fools day.. not really my thing.

I like them for the most part. Yes it's predictable that Google will do something, but I enjoy the creativity that they put in to it.

I love Google's April Fools. Can't wait to see what they come up with this year.

My favorite was the 8-bit Google Maps, in the style of old video game maps.
