Elliot B.
I'll need around 650W (2x 7870 XT, 5x HDDs etc.) so I have decided on a 730W/750W to be safe. Since I don't want to spend more than ?80, my options are: Coolermaster G750M 750WRS750-AMAAB1-UKSemi-modularBronzeWarranty??60 Fractal Design Integra R2 750WFD-PSU-IN2B-750WFully wiredBronze3-year warranty?62 EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B120-PB-0750-KRFully modularBronze5-year warranty?64 Corsair CX 750WCP-9020015-UKFully wiredBronze3-year warranty?65 ThermalTake Smart Series 730WSPS-730MPCBEUSemi-modularBronzeWarranty??66 Corsair CX750MCP-9020061-UKSemi-modularBronze3-year warranty?70 Thermaltake SMART 730WSP-730PCWEUSemi-modularBronzeWarranty??73 XFX TS 750WP1-750S-NLB9Fully wiredBronze5-year warranty?78 be quiet! Sandor
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B Simply because fully modular and it has multiple 12v rails.
Mindovermaster Moderator Posted April 1, 2014 Moderator Share Posted April 1, 2014 IMHO, go with the Corsair. In the 5 Corsairs I bought, 3 TX650, 2 CX550, I had no trouble. Alera 1 Share
spikey_richie
Anything but the Thermaltake. Agreed on the EVGA as it's fully modular.
Luc2k
Fully modular is pointless as a factor in buying a PSU IMO (I have a fully modular Seasonic X-560). It's not like you're not going to use the motherboard and CPU cables anyway. Fully wired is a big no no though, too much clutter for good wire management. T3X4S
eVga or Corsair - avoid all the others.
