Which 750W PSU for under

I'll need around 650W (2x 7870 XT, 5x HDDs etc.) so I have decided on a 730W/750W to be safe.

  • Corsair CX 750W

    3-year warranty

  • ThermalTake Smart Series 730W

IMHO, go with the Corsair. In the 5 Corsairs I bought, 3 TX650, 2 CX550, I had no trouble.

Fully modular is pointless as a factor in buying a PSU IMO (I have a fully modular Seasonic X-560). It's not like you're not going to use the motherboard and CPU cables anyway. Fully wired is a big no no though, too much clutter for good wire management.
