cantoris
As a TechNet subscriber, I've just spotted that ISOs for Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 with Update 1 included are now available for download. A zipfile (360MB and 770MB for x86 and x64) of the update is also on there and it contains the individual patches plus a text file giving the order of installation. SQL 2014 is also available for download. The express editions of this are also now on the standard Microsoft download centre.

MorganX
Anyone can confirm if Win8 keys will work on the Win8.1 Update one install via clean install, please post back. The update doesn't require a key, and the ISO w/update uses the same keys at 8.1. I have not performed an install I'm just going by the fact that the downloads list existing keys and the update only requires no key.
John.D
I did a clean install of 8.1 with the generic key. You have to use a retail key to activate it. Cant see why it wouldnt work with 8.1 update
