Was the Windows 8.1 Update 1 the RTM version or not? (WZor)

Recommended Posts

I'm surprised that it hasn't popped out.

Can someone confirm the build string? I mean, was the Update 1 that was "leaked" through WIndows Update the RTM version, or not?

Thanks a lot for the info.

As reported on MDL, it seems that the only change was:

Windows8.1-KB2949621-v2-x64.msu

The others have the same hash value that the leaked ones.

I wonder if it's possible to trick the update service into pushing the RTM bits now..?

There was a way, early on, but MS closed that off.  It's only another day till the 8th when everyone will get it, heck, I haven't installed updates from March yet.

My PC has been running for 11wks 6days 22hrs 20mins, though I might have to finally restart later today.
