ashpowell Posted April 8, 2014 Author Share Posted April 8, 2014 I got a P9X79 deluxe and the hardware monitor has gone a bit funny lately and the CPU was genuinely overheating. I replaced the cooling fan with a watercooled one (Corsair iH something). I still get funny messages about chipset reaching -1C etc. Are you running the latest firmware? If not flash it and also clear your CMOS and reconfigure it. Ignore me.
