+Warwagon MVC Posted April 13, 2014 MVC Share Posted April 13, 2014 As of yesterday on my Verizon Galaxy S3 I was running a CM 4.4.2 Nighty from December 2013. The last available update was Feb 17th 2014 but when installed it gave me a lot of bugs. Yesterday I just got my car kit, and when the phone would get plugged in and would start car mode all voice recognition would die until I would restarted the phone. Another issue I had is, after I would unplug the phone from the charger there would be a slight lag. Not sure if this was just a buggy rom but I went online looking for a new ROM. I found SlimKat a Slim 4.4.2 Official stable rom. My phone is currently running without a hitch. The only issue I had was a very small DPI by default and no way to change it from inside the settings. But I was able to use an free app called texdroider_dpi. Sikh Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 I always wanted to see screenshots of SlimKat. Im a big fan and supporter of Paranoid Android. They by far have made the best ROM in the android community. The reason I say this is because of Peek, Halo, Pie, etc. Of course this is all my opinion but i really do like the PA Teams effort and work they do Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
