macoman
Does anyone know if there is a way to reset Windows Server from the command prompt? like refreshing the whole system without deleting any files, like documents and pictures. I know I can do sfc /scannow but this does not reset the system. I want a complete reset wipe of Windows but without deleting the files saved. sc302 Veteran Posted April 14, 2014 Veteran Share Posted April 14, 2014 Before doing anything like this you should take a backup of your system. Then you can try to install on top of to "reset the system" This is why having multiple drives is a good thing, one for data and one for system. That way if you absolutely needed to you could wipe the system drive without effecting the data drive.
