Yggdrasil
My mom's neighbor has just built a pole barn with sheet metal covering both the inside and outside of the building. His house is located about 160-200 ft away from his pole barn. The wireless signal from his router is detect right outside his pole barn, but not inside it. Would it be possible to install a M2 on the outside of his barn acting as a bridge, while the M2 inside the barn would be the AP? Is it possible to connect the two M2s by Ethernet? It seems the M2 is unidirectional, and I'm afraid the signal will be affected when both M2s are facing the opposite direction to one another. Or should I place one M2 outside connected (by Ethernet) to a wireless router inside the barn?
duddit2
This is best posted on the Ubiquiti forums I think, you'll find much more expertise on there related to their tech. I've only just started using the Unify range, and am well impressed!
