'Black Ring Of Leamington Spa' Could Be Witchcraft

Recommended Posts

Even after dismissing witchcraft with a rational mind this is still really, really weird.

Dubbed the Black Ring of Leamington Spa, the strange phenomenon was captured by Georgina Heap, 16, on her iPhone on Friday evening near Warwick Castle.

Fire services have said no fires were reported at the time and the Met Office have said it does not appear to be weather-related.

Heap said it was "the weirdest thing I have ever seen".

"I looked up at it and thought 'what the hell?', it was amazing.

"It was just floating there like a cloud and then it disappeared. It wasn't birds either.

"There were about ten of us who stopped what we were doing and watched."

UFO expert, Nick Pope, described the video as "truly bizarre" and ruled out it being a smoke ring.

He added: "One other possibility is that the shape is made up of millions of bees or other insects, but I've never heard of insects behaving in this way before, so if this is the explanation, it's a real-life X-File."

^ That video is from Nevada, USA -- not England.

One of the comments states that the machine smoke ring lasts only a minute.

The Warwick ring lasted 3 minutes.

Just because someone can replicate an effect, is not proof of anything.

Neither is a smoke ring proof of witchcraft

So it's impossible to do this in England. How long the smoke ring lasts depends on the stuff you use to make it and and weather conditions and such where you make it.

And being able to replicate it generally is proof that it's usually not magic, aliens or other dimensions. Ochams razor and all.

Also insect can be tricked into doing all sorta of things. Especially circles, you can easily make ants walk in a vortex where they will keep going round till they all die.

lol you silly chap....

you have 7 days

Based on the still image, it's a smoke ring that came from the chimney... Just look at the tiny ones that was just too small to make it up high.  Does not have enough "oomph"... :p

Being able to replicate something is proof of something: that a strange or uncommon phenomenon doesn't need a supernatural explanation. Do you really not see the connection there?

Gee. How do you become a UFO expert? Become well known for offering vague and unverified explanations of the occasional light in the sky?

plenty of videos of this on Youtube showing how its done, no mystery just some clever smoke bombs.

Why has no one come forward, or found the alleged 'smoke machine' ?

Why was this supposed smoke ring seen only one time ?

Why are these rings not seen in other areas of England ?

Posting a video filmed in Nevada, USA does not explain the sighting in England.

And others are just as sure this 'smoke' ring is a circle of insects. ;)

:s  :s  :s  :s  :s

Because a stunt performed in one part of the world can't be replicated in another?

Read: crop circles.
