WhatsApp voice messaging feature

Anyone used the WhatsApp voice messaging feature before? I don't use it often, because I don't like listening to my messages aloud in the public. Until one day someone sent a really quiet voice message to me, so I put the phone up to my ear and discovered that when the phone is next to my ear, the voice message plays through the headphone instead of the loud speaker! Privacy is back! So I told my friend to hold the phone up to his ear after I sent him a voice message to test and he said "are you crazy, do you want to make me deaf?" so I said "trust me" and he said he didn't know about this feature till now.
