Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn PS4 - always on Maintenance

Will today is now the third day since I purchased this game and I am not able t play, I can't log on to the games servers** on my Playstation 4 because of this never ending maintenance. I am yet to play a single time in the 36 hours I had this game now. Anyone else experiencing this?

You said you "can't log on to [your] PS4." Are you saying that you can't log in into PSN after turning on your PS4? Or are you saying you can't log in to the FFIV:ARR servers from your PS4? (i.e. - do other online games for you work?)

 

I don't have FFIV:ARR for the PS4, so I can't comment on that particular game. However PSN, and online games, are working fine for me.

My mistake, the games server is what it seem to me to be in continuous maintenance however I just cleared my cache and now I have a new issue trying to play this game.

 

I am now required a one time password on top of my regular password, however getting this one time password requires entering the games Registration code to obtain this one time password which fails when I do so on secure.square-enix.com. I never had this much trouble playing a online game before, this is ridiculous. 

 

IF anyone knows how to get this taken care of please help, thanks a bunch, until then ill be on google trying to find a solution.

All I see I see,well I decided to call the support number and a nice guy picked up and quickly discovered my issue, I needed to go into the Playstation Store and enter the games redemption code there and the problem was solved! :D

Glad to hear it. I played the game on the PC and I really liked it. Did a few dungeons and did some crafting. Everything was really great. I think you'll like it.

It looks like I spoke too soon,will after many hours of research and on the phone with Square enix support I was told to call back once their tech support website claims there is no more issues with their tech support so that they can look into my account.

So Im stuck with a game I can't play until this URL is updated

My issue is I cant log into this freakin game because of a "One-TIme Password that is being required on top of my regular password.

As you can see wit the screenshot I taken below there isnt an option for me to do this with my phone, I downloaded the app on my phone just to come to a request for my registration password I never received in my email.

I was told that having a token was not required and all I had to do was change my password using internet explorer and not chrome and that would fix the issue without me having to enter a One time password and just my regular log in, it did not solve my issue and Im stuck at this freaking screen below

 

 

 

 

Conclusion, Do not buy until support page is updated or beware sharing my misery.
