(Account no longer active) Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Avira (Free) Kaspersky (Paid) I recently tried installing Avira on a friend's machine, but all it did was install some kind of profile manager. The Dark Knight Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Why are you giving so much importance to the UI? An AV program is designed to be just left alone to run in the background once installed. It's not something you keep opening every now and then for whatever reason. That said, ESET is pretty slick without being over the top like some of the others out there.
