I want to make a piece of furniture incorporating old CPU's. Does anyone know where I could get some?

I'd look on Ebay. I'm sure someone is selling faulty CPUs.

A quick search brings loads of results.

Depends what kinda CPU you want, if you're talking old P1 and whatnot, they'll be expensive because of the higher amounts of gold in them (which salvagers want). If however you just want dies to use, look up eprom or rom dies on ebay, not sure if they'll have them or whatnot but they'll probably be much cheaper.

If you lived in England Or the U.K. I would had sent a working one, you could then mash it up a bit and make it non-working.

Do you want actual CPUs? Or are you classifying an entire tower as a CPU?

Jump into the dumpster at Intel or AMD and grab all the ones that didn't quite make it through quality control.

Buy 10 Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2's and ship 2 to me, and then fry the rest of them.
