Im sure most android users know about this but Google released an app a while ago that lets you do short surveys in return for credit on the Google Play Store.

 

For instance a survey I recieved today had two questions

Q: How many hours a week do you drive
1 : 0
2: 1-4
3: 4+

Q: What would you like to be made easier whilst driving on your smartphone
1: Texting
2: Emails
3: Directions
4: can't remember
5: Other (Free form text box)

This survey got me 26p which I know isn't a lot but it took 20 seconds to complete so with enough you'll be able to afford some premium apps. The app itself is free and is worth trying as it won't take up too much time

I remember reading about it and thinking it was a cool idea. Sadly it doesn't look like I can install it, it's not available on the Play Store for me and if I use your link it tells me that my device is incompatible. :(

I'm up to around $11 in credit. I've bought a couple of $3 to $4 apps as well.

Yea I've been doing this for a couple of months too, click click done, easy way to get a few apps I normally wouldn't have bought.

I think the issue isn't to do with my device, but more to do with my location. Perhaps they've still only limited it to US and UK.
