Please Recommend a tiny MultiVitamin

Recommended Posts

I started to focus on my health(unfortunately I waited for a health scare to do so) and purchased a bunch of supplements to assist me, however the current Multivitamins I purchased are too big for me and I need some Tiny Mens Multivitamins with the same or close to the amount of Vitamins as my current one.

Below is the current Multivitamin i am taking and struggle with unfortunately.

Look at the daily values, you're going to be pissing all of those vitamins and minerals out. No need to have 8333% of your recommended intake of anything. Get a better brand of vitamins that are smaller and don't have such outrageous amounts of ingredients in them as you're just wasting money with those.

what Hoochie said.

if you're healthy you wont need vitamins more than 100%, especially if you follow a healthy & balanced diet regime which is more important for health conscious folk.

That kind of multivitamins only needed if you seriously malnourished or in recovery.

I used to sell and take Newchapter's daily multivitamin and I don't remember it being that large. And it's probably one of the best on the market still. It's made from food instead of synthetics, you can take it without food and it has a small dose of probiotics with it.

Very cost effective and easy to swallow multivitamin here:  http://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-synergy-viva-whole-food-multi-vitamin-with-iron-90-vegetarian-capsules-1

That being said, I only take 2 per day instead of 6.  I use them just to supplement my diet, and I don't need the full brunt of what they have to offer.

This is much more costly, but I have heard good things:  http://www.vitacost.com/garden-of-life-vitamin-code-raw-men-240-vegetarian-capsules-3

I thought the percentage of vitamins were a bit high and asked the salesperson why is that? He replied back that you need more vitamins to support you when working out.

do you smoke? if so stay away from beta carotene source of vitamin A in multis, and choose one with Acetate or Palmitate instead.

No, I stopped smoking a while ago.

How big are the ""Vitacost Synergy Viva!? Whole Food Multi-Vitamin with Iron -- 90 Vegetarian Capsules"" pills? Im looking for something the size of aspirin or Advil pills.

I was actually at a farmers market and saw these vitamins "garden of life" and considered purchase them however if its in a gel capsule can I open it and mix it in a drink? Maybe my protein shake?

How big would you compare the pills

The new thing are gummy multivitamins, won't be hard at all to take :)

I consdiered these however I read a bunch of reviews on amazon about bad tasting gummies and could not find a gummy vitamin with enough vitamins.

I can get the actual measurements for you when I get home, they will be probably double the size of the asprin/advil.  If you are interested in something to add to a drink/shake, possibly check out something like this?

Get some pure MSM power. It's a sulphur supplement. It synergises well with ascorbic acid (vitamin C). As for other vitamins, I'd stick to getting it from your food. Fruits, vegetables (Peppers, Spinach, Broccoli, etc). MSM actually increases cell membrane permeability, which means a higher concentration of the nutrients you consume are absorbed.

There's a joke I read that said an American's urine is the most expensive in the world. That's because of all the health products consumed that are flushed down the toilet. If your body is sulphur deficient, you're not getting the best out of your food or other supplements.
