Jimquisition: Watch_Dogs - 5 Collector's Editions For 1 Game? What?

He covered Collectors Editions in one of his earlier videos and I agree with him. Collectors editions are there to entice you to get "the full game". People who buy the regular one are buying an incomplete package, with most likely things on the disc that will be locked from use.

I also agree with how he thinks Collectors Editions for brand new, unproven IP's are.

Depends, some companies still make "real" CEs... like Blizzard and CD Projekt, for example.

I don't mind Collectors Editions which come with physical items, items from the game, books and things about the game, things a Collector would be interested in. But when the game ships with stuff thats simply locked to anyone but Collectors, that irritates me. We aren't getting a complete game, we are getting a portion of it.

Love me some clothing, hats, t-shirts, hoodies. Always nice and practical. But i agree having like nine editions or whatever for one release is a bit much. I mean they need an Excel sheet just to make it clear which is which. That's out of control if you ask me.
