7 Dead after drive-by shootings

I think a civil lawsuit is inevitable.  The family of the victims will claim that the psychologists and his parents should have known he was a danger to society.  Though it will probably be hard to prove in court, but I'm sure they'll try. 

My thought is, who was paying his rent, auto, college, bills ... ?

 

Where did the money come from for the guns & ammo ...

He was living in an independent living center, likely because of his Aspberger's and other problems.

He likely got extra money and his car from his parents. Adults with Asperger?s syndrome can apply Social Security and the State may also have paid benefits to him under welfare (including cash), food stamps, medicaid, housing assistance under Section 8 etc. Lots of resources, especially in welfare-crazy states like California.

In his "manifesto" he mentions that he gets money from his mother (not sure about his father - he seemed to really dislike him), the same one that he wanted to disregard what she wanted for his own benefit (to marry a wealthy guy, because him - driving a pretty new BMW - wasn't wealthy enough (!) ) - no idea if he got any welfare or not

I read his ramblings - heck the kid didn't even get sex like 99,99999999999999% people on Planet Earth get, but he tried the "law of attraction" on winning the lottery and failed each and every time he bought a ticket (and often, if not all the time, more than one); and I hardly think he began his puberty by thinking "Oh man, what a gorgeous looking chick! I hope she rejects me."

Unfortunately, a total of four people I knew lost their lives over the weekend: two friends and two classmates.
