I'd be up for that if it was done in the UK as well.

It's on at like 2am lol :P

Ain't no one wanting to be working in theatres at that time!

Nope :(

London is like a different country compared to where I live :p

Playstation emailed me a competition to go to E3, *fingers crossed*. Stupid timer based quiz though, people probably get through it in 2 seconds once the answers are out.

I'll stick to catching up via IGN's E3 summaries this year, thanks.

I liked IGN more back when they had written articles. Now everything is a video because I guess their target audience doesn't really like to read.

Very true, but I greatly appreciate their ability to turn hours of "presentation" into the 10mins of news/announcements I actually wanted to have delivered to me.

I stuttered on the first question, got the other 4 instantly. Quite an easy quiz so I'm sure some people will have like 3 seconds :p Hopefully it's something like all of those <=15 seconds get put into a "hat" or something.

Damn, closest venue to me is in NYC. I am tempted to do it still, but that is pretty damn geeky.

Actually nevermind, all seats are already gone.  I could join a wait list, but especially since it is a Monday night and I would have to work the next day, going to pass. Would have been cool.

It's okay, sitting at home and following Andy meltdown on twitter as he's stayed awake to 3~4am due to hype is more fun :p On the note of hype I do hope this means a decent show is planned. Every single year E3 is overhyped, I expect that to be the case this year as well, but a move like this restores a little belief it won't just be as run of the mill.

better be something big planned if they are going to do this in theaters lol. Seems like a awful waste of money unless something big is being announced. I actually just tried to get tickets for the one close to me and its sold out and i had to be put on a waiting list whatever that is.  Also tried the one thats 3 hours away instead of 1 hour and its sold out too.  The part about suprive giveaway made me want to go lol

Well managed to get tickets for the one in houston but thats like a 4 and half hour drive not sure if i can make that or not!

Cool idea for sure. I'm definitely more interested in watching from the comfort of my home, but Sony came up with a great idea.

I'm trying not to get too excited, but my hype meter continues to rise

You'd have to assume with this kind of promotion that they are planning on a great E3. This must mean that the next Ape Escape game is being confirmed!

Just FYI though i figured it out before i got a response and am going to to be at houston event.

From the response i got from Sony you will need to be there as early as possible to get a good spot in line if your on the waiting list. If you have a ticket you MUST arrive 15 minutes before the show begins at 8pm Central. At 7:45pm Central they will begin filling any empty seats with people on the waiting list. Which btw you will need you waiting list email printed out. If you have a actual ticket and show up at 7:50 you will not be getting in. The ticket guarantees entry at 7:30pm-7:45pm Central. Event starts at 8 and ends at 10. The last 30 minutes is special stuff like extra clips and what not they are not showing at E3.
