Archive directory on Debian

Hi,

 

I been looking everywhere for a fast way to archive a directory around 20GB in size really quickly on a Debian server with an SSD & 12 core CPU. I am not too fussed about compression but mainly want to just archive it with the ability to unarchive it fast in the future. (Although compression is good as long as its fast)

 

Any recommendations?
