Half 2 & Portal with GLTools

Anybody manage to play Half Life 2 and/or Portal on an unsupported device using Gltools? I've heard of some success with Adreno 320 and 330. Wondering what settings you guys are using and what controller you may be using. 

 

I have a Nexus 5 & Nook HD+, want to buy the games with a play store hack but want to make sure the games will be playable.

Valve released Portal and Half Life 2 onto the Play store but they are currently exclusive only to the Nvidia Shield through some deal between Valve and Nvidia. 

 

Its pretty easy to trick the Play store into thinking you have a supported device so thats not an issue, how these two games will play on an unsupported GPU and controller though is a different story. I have a Steelseries Free mobile controller...I guess I could wait until the exclusivity deal is over but nah lol I will buy one of them and see what I can do and report back.
