AFAIK as long as you install them into separate paths, you shouldn't have an issue.

I had an issue with MWB Anti-exploit a few weeks ago preventing Office 2013 programs from loading, so I put Office 2010 on the same machine as a test. Worked fine, in so much as Word, Excel & PowerPoint loaded (I didn't try anything more than that though).

I have both on my laptop. I can choose either one to open files, although Office 2013 takes over by default. Icons will be 2013 version unless you open a file within Office 2010. As far as your 2010 disc, If you have an unused slot on the license that came with the disc there should be no issues at all installing the older version.

I'm referring to this https://www.malwarebytes.org/antiexploit/ there is/was a version which prevented some apps from loading which is in this thread https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1210515-ie11-and-office-2013-applications-not-loading/
